Welcome to the Website of High Desert Dolphins. We are creating pitfired scuptures of Dolphins and soon we will also offer a selection of other sculptures. Our sculptures are molded from from originals created by Nikola Kael, every piece is unique due to the pitfire firing process which gives it its special pattern. Rob Drexel's expertise in this process assures the most astounding results.

People who love dolphins live, well, everywhere - even where dolphins (currently) are not! Rob and Nikola have settled and built a house in the beautiful high desert of central New Mexico, elevation 6500 feet, where you can still find sea shells on the hillsides from when this dramatic countryside used to be underwater (some millions of years ago...) and most probably home to many dolphin ancestors.
